Real Madrid Look to Make History

Last season Real Madrid won the Champions League and they look to be the first squad ever to repeat as champions this season. They have the best Champions league betting odds along with Bayern Munich, who are both at 4/1.

Bayern Munich (4/1) s loaded with players that won the World Cup for Germany and they added Thiago Alcântara from Barcelona in the off-season. Last season they easily won the Bundesliga scoring the most goals and conceding the fewest. Bayern is solid all over the pitch and have one of the best GK’s in the world in Manuel Neuer, who won the Golden Gloves at the World Cup this summer.

Real Madrid (4/1) won the Champions League last season led by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karem Benzema. This striker duo will get some more help from the midfield with the addition of World Cup winner Toni Kroos. The defense is a good one, but can GK Iker Casillas forget about his disastrous World Cup showing?

The rich keep getting richer, as Barcelona (5/1) added to their already dynamic attack signing Luis Suarez, who led the EPL in goals last season. He will play alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar to give Barca a great attack.

Manchester City (10/1) has a great attack with the trio of Yaya Touré, Sergio Agüero, and Edin Dzeko, but the defense was the issue for the squad last season. They signed defensive midfielder Fernando and DF Bacary Sagna, which were great signings. GK Joe Hart has to step up and have a good season for City to win the CL.

Paris Saint-Germain (10/1) had a good run in last season’s Champions League and they won the France Ligue 1 title. Zlatan Ibrahimović and Thiago Silva lead the squad, but can they compete with the giants from the bigger leagues?

Chelsea (10/1) may be a good Champions League bet since they made some great off-season moves. Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa bolster a lineup that is already solid, especially in the midfield.

Juventus has the best betting odds from any squad from Italy Series A even though they are at 20/1. They are coming off another Scudetto win and improved their attack in the off-season with the addition of Carlos Tavez.
