England Looks to Qualify

World Cup qualifying matches resume on Friday October 11th and 10 teams have already made it into the tournament next summer in Brazil and many more will qualify after the next round of matches.

One of the tighter groups in European qualifying is Group H with England in the lead with 16 points, Ukraine and Montenegro with 15 points, and Poland still alive with 13 points. England plays host to Montenegro and they are big home favorites in their Friday match at -250 with Montenegro at +700 and a draw at +350.

Ukraine hosts Poland, who must win this match to stay alive, and they are the home favorite at -120 with Poland at +350 and a draw at +240.

In Group B Denmark plays host to Italy and they really need a home win. Italy is in first place in the group with 20 points and has already qualified for the World Cup. Second place is up for grabs with Bulgaria with 13 points and Denmark has 12 points. Denmark is the slight home betting favorite facing Italy and Bulgaria is the slight away favorite facing Armenia.

Other big matches in Europe this week are Austria hosting Sweden, Croatia hosting Belgium, Holland hosting Hungary, and Portugal hosting Israel.

Second place in South American qualifying is up for grabs this Friday when Columbia hosts Chile. Columbia is in second place in the regional qualifying with 26 point sand Chile in third with 24 points. Columbia is the home betting favorite in this match at -110 with Chile at +300 and a draw at +240.
