Chelsea is the EPL Team to Catch

Chelsea is in first place in the Premier League, but several other teams are chasing them. The Blues have a four-point lead over Liverpool and Arsenal with Manchester City six points back. City has played two fewer matches than these clubs and recently won the Capital One Cup.

With FA Cup action happening on March eighth and ninth some of the top clubs in Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Everton do not have an EPL match until the middle of this month.

Bet365 has Chelsea with the best betting odds to win the EPL at +120 followed by Manchester City (+150), Liverpool (+500), Arsenal (+2000), Tottenham (+3000), Manchester United (+5000), and Everton (+7500).

Chelsea does not have the easiest month ahead, but both of their tough matches facing Tottenham and Arsenal are at home. They are big betting favorites facing the Spurs in their next match with odds of -175 with Tottenham at +500 and a draw line at +275.

Liverpool has climbed back in the title race with their recent play, as they have won four straight and are unbeaten in their last nine matches. When they return they face a struggling Manchester United squad on the road where they are the betting underdog. Bet365 has Man U at +125 with Liverpool at +220 and a draw line of +225.

After leading the EPL for most of the season Arsenal has been struggling and they lost to Stoke City in their last match. The Gunners have two losses, one draw, and one win in their last four matches. They play three key matches this month beginning on the 16th facing Tottenham on the road, Chelsea on the road, and then hosting Manchester City.

The Gunners need to get some points from their next few matches to stay in the EPL race and they are road favorites in their next fixture facing Tottenham. Arsenal has betting odds of +138 with the Spurs at +200 and a draw line of +225.

To say Manchester City has a busy month ahead would be an understatement. They are coming off a win over Sunderland in the Capital One Cup final and their next two matches are facing Wigan in the FA cup quarterfinals and Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League knockout phase. They then have four EPL matches on the March docket.

In City’s first two league matches they face squads out of the top 11 in the league, before two tough ones facing Manchester United and Arsenal on the road.
