Premier League Season Betting Preview

After going undefeated in 17 of their final 18 matches to claim their first Premier League title since 2010 last year, Chelsea enters the 2015-2016 season as a solid +145 favourite to repeat as league champions in Premier League futures betting at Bovada.

The Blues notched 12 victories and five draws in their final 18 games to break open a tight three-way race atop the table at midseason and finish the campaign a full seven points ahead of second-place Manchester City.

Liverpool vs Southampton Betting

Liverpool came in second in the Premier League last season, but lost Luis Suarez, who transferred to Barcelona. Suarez led the EPL in goals last season and the loss is a big one even though the Reds are the big betting favorite at home facing Southampton in their opening league match.

While Southampton is the underdog in this match they finished in the top 10 in the league last season. However, they lost many of their key players from last season.

EPL Odds to Win: Soccer Betting

Manchester City won the Premier League last season, but Chelsea has the best betting odds at 365 to win the title this season. That is no surprise since they bolstered their squad with the additions of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.

The big clubs of Chelsea (15/8), Manchester City (9/4), Manchester United (9/2), Arsenal (6/1), and Liverpool (10/1) all have decent betting odds to win the EPL while all of the other squads have long shot odds.

Man City EPL Title Odds

This Sunday is the final match week in the Premier League with some key matches that have some big consequences. I say big, as if Manchester City beats West Ham they will win the EPL title. The other big match is Norwich City, who must beat Arsenal to avoid relegation.

Here is the final match day in the EPL

League:

FA Cup Final: Arsenal vs Hull City

Hull City has not had to play any of the top-flight teams in their run to the FA Cup final, but can they beat one in Arsenal to win the coveted trophy? The Gunners are out of the Premier League race so their only chance to add to their trophy case is winning the FA Cup. If they can beat Hull City they will pull into a tie with Manchester City for the most FA Cup titles with 11.

Hull City looks score a big upset for the second season in a row after Wigan won the FA Cup last season shockingly beating a heavily favorite Manchester City side.

Down to the Wire in the EPL

Manchester City and Liverpool are tied for the league lead with 80 points, but City has the upper hand, as they have a +9 goal differential. The goal differential will give City the EPL crown if they end the season with the same amount of points as the Reds.

Chelsea and Arsenal round out the top four and they will earn the automatic Champions League berth for next season, but each only has one more match remaining and they cannot catch City or the Reds, who each still play two matches.

League:

Manchester City vs Aston Villa Betting

Manchester City is in the driver’s season to win the Premier League, but they still have some work to do. They are tied with Liverpool for the league lead with two matches remaining, but they have a +9 goal differential lead over the Reds, so if City wins out they will win the EPL crown.

Aston Villa is the HUGE betting underdog for this match and they currently sit in 12th place in the league table. The Villans won their last match, which snapped their six match winless streak.

League:

Liverpool in the Driver’s Seat

With only a handful of matches left in the Premier League Liverpool is in the lead and the title is theirs for the taking. While the Reds are red-hot winners of nine straight league matches they have a tough month ahead facing Manchester City and Chelsea. Still, they have their destiny in their hands and both the City and Chelsea matches are at home.

Bet365 still has Man City with the best odds to win the Premier League at +138 with Liverpool at +188 and Chelsea at +650.

League:

Chelsea is the EPL Team to Catch

Chelsea is in first place in the Premier League, but several other teams are chasing them. The Blues have a four-point lead over Liverpool and Arsenal with Manchester City six points back. City has played two fewer matches than these clubs and recently won the Capital One Cup.

With FA Cup action happening on March eighth and ninth some of the top clubs in Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Everton do not have an EPL match until the middle of this month.

League:

Chelsea vs Everton Betting Odds

Chelsea lost their last match, which eliminated them from the FA Cup competition, but they are still in first place in the England Premier League. While Everton advanced in the FA Cup with a win in their last match they are still big road underdogs facing the Blues in this EPL encounter.

Midweek Bet365 has odds posted for this key EPL encounter with Chelsea at -188 and Everton at +550 with a draw line of +300.

Everton is coming off a loss in their last EPL match and they have lost two of their last three.
