Weekly Marquee Matches for Apr. 29

This weekend’s biggest match is probably Sevilla vs. Real Madrid, as the La Liga title is the only real one up for grabs out of the big ones in Europe.

However, the other matches are also big, as while they do not have title implications there are still many teams battling to earn a berth in the Champions League next season.

Tottenham vs. Manchester City - Matchup Report

With six matches left to play it is almost a sure bet that Manchester City cannot catch Chelsea for the league title, as they are 13 points back of the Blues. Tottenham sits in sixth place in the league table and they need to catch fire and get help in order to secure a top four spot and an automatic Champions League berth for next season. Catch fire may be hard, as they are not only road betting underdogs facing City, who have won two straight, but the Spurs are far from top form with two draws, a loss, and a win in their last four matches.

Bet365 has Manchester City as the EPL betting favorite at +100 with Tottenham at +275 and a draw line of +260.

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Bayern Munich - Matchup Report

Bayern Munich has the Bundesliga title in the bag and unless Bayer Leverkusen falls apart in the rest of their matches they should play in the Champions League next season. Bayer Leverkusen had their four-match winning streak snapped in their last match when they played to a draw. Bayern has won four straight after their shocking loss to B. Monchengladbach and in the beginning of this month they beat Bayer Leverkusen on the road 1-0 in the DFB Pokal.

Bayer Leverkusen is the betting favorite at Bet365 with posted odds of +138 and Bayern at +210 and a draw line at +230.

Sevilla vs. Real Madrid

Real Madrid has won five straight La Liga matches and they only sit two points behind Barcelona in the league table. They are the betting favorite in this match, but cannot take fourth place Sevilla lightly, as they are unbeaten in their last eight matches overall and played them tough at home where they won 2-1. Earlier this month Sevilla played to a home draw against Barcelona and in their last three matches they have scored seven goals.

Real Madrid has favorite odds at Bet365 at +105 with Sevilla at +250 and a draw line of +260.

Sampdoria vs. Juventus

Barring an epic collapse Juventus will win the Scudetto this season and they face a struggling Sampdoria squad. Sampdoria has been the surprise of the Serie A this season and while they are still in fourth place they have three draws and two losses in their last five matches. However, there is hope for them, as earlier in the season at Juvetnus they played them to a 1-1 draw.

Bet365 has Juventus as the Serie A betting favorite in this match with odds of +140 with Sampdoria at +200 and a draw line at +230.

Napoli vs. AC Milan

Napoli sits in fourth place in the Serie A table and they are five points back of third place AS Roma for an automatic Champions League berth. They have won three straight matches and face a AC Milan squad that has lost two straight and is winless in their last four matches. In their three-match league winning streak Napoli has scored 10 goals and AC Milan has conceded five goals in their last two matches.

Napoli is the big betting favorite in this match, as Bet365 has them with posted odds of -188 with AC Milan at +500 and a draw line of +333.
