Netherlands vs Chile: Dutch to Win

The Netherlands has won their first two matches, have scored eight goals and only conceded three, and have already advanced to the round of 16. However, they had to come from behind in their last group match facing Australia and are without their main striker in Robin van Persie, who is sitting out after picking up his second yellow card in the last match.

Chile is also into the round of 16 after their more than impressive win over Spain in their last match. While both Netherlands and Chile are in the knockout phase this match is still HUGE. The winner will likely have to avoid playing host Brazil in the round of 16 match.

Bovada has the Netherlands as the slight betting favorite at +160 with Chile at +190 and a draw line at +243.

The Dutch have the better goal differential so if this match ends in a draw they will win the group.

With van Persie out it puts more pressure on Arjen Robben to carry the offense. The defense of the Dutch did not look good in the Australia match and that is not good facing a Chile squad that is in top form.

Chile disrupted the passing attack of Spain and played great defense near the box and if they can repeat that performance they have a great chance to win.

Holland is without their key striker and their defense has issues and while Chile has looked great the Dutch have the better overall team and they will take three points with a win and more important win the group.
