World Cup Champion Group Betting

Yet another unique betting option for the World Cup that Bet365 offers is which group will have the winning team. Group A has the best odds and with good reason since host Brazil is in the group and they have the best overall odds to win the World Cup this summer.

No surprise that Group F has the second best odds, as Argentina is in the not-so-tough group and they have the second best overall odds to win the competition.

Group B is at +450 and there are two teams that have good overall odds to win it all in Spain and Holland, who met in the 2010 World Cup final.

Germany has the third best overall to win the World Cup and best odds for a non-South American team, but their group G only has the fourth best odds. The reason is that Germany is in the Group of Death and while they are favored to win the group getting to the round of 16 is no easy task.

Group C and Group E have the worst odds for the groups to win the World Cup even though each has a South American team in it. Columbia is the betting favorite to win Group C while Ecuador has the second lowest odds to win Group E.

Columbia does have a solid squad that has a lot of talent, but if they do win their group they will face the second place team from Group D. They will likely have to face one of the three teams of Italy, England, and Uruguay, who are in the wide-open Group D.

Here are the odds from Bet365 on which group will produce the World Cup winning team.

Group A +275
Group F +400
Group B +450
Group G +450
Group D +900
Group H +1200
Group E +1400
Group C +1600
